About the Role
As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be the face of our customer experience team, providing top-notch support to healthcare clients and their members. Your role will be multifaceted, involving a mix of inbound and outbound calls, research, and issue resolution. You'll be responsible for:
- Bringing your passion and product knowledge to recommend upgrades to health plans and provide personalized support to customers
- Conducting research and making outbound calls to answer general healthcare benefit and eligibility questions, enrollment status requests, and other customer inquiries
- Assisting members with navigating their online health accounts, locating doctor and facility information, and resolving technical issues
- Providing exceptional customer experiences, responding to customer concerns, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
What You Bring to the Role
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A minimum of 6 months of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare or related industry
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with technology, including high-speed internet (> 15 mbps) and a USB wired headset (or compatible alternative)
- A smartphone or device that runs IOS or Android for daily log-in and other work-related tasks
- Integrity and a commitment to maintaining patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with customers and provide personalized support
