Job Description The People Experience Advisory (PXA) team supports around 2,300 employees across 22 countries and 28 legal entities — managing payroll, HR operations, compliance, and employee lifecycle for a genuinely global workforce. We are hiring a HR Ops & Payroll Advisor (12-month contract). You'll manage payroll inputs and outputs with our external vendors, handle statutory compliance, and own the HR operations side of the employee lifecycle for your regions. What you'll own: Manage end-to-end payroll inputs and outputs for at least 3 regions in partnership with our external payroll vendors Own input validation, GTN analysis, reconciliations, and post-payroll checks for your regions Analyse and action correspondence from government and tax authorities  Manage statutory filings and compliance deadlines across both regions Identify, escalate, and follow through on vendor errors; manage corrections and off-cycle runs as needed Monitor and flag legislative changes that impact payroll processing Own the employee lifecycle for your regions: employment contracts, amendments, onboarding documentation, promotions, time and attendance, and offboarding Maintain accurate HR data in the HRIS across all employee changes Handle employee and manager requests via our ServiceNow case management platform within agreed SLAs Ensure HR compliance with local employment law requirements Partner with Local People Experience Consultants on people processes and employee experience matters Support cross-training and knowledge-sharing initiatives  Maintain and improve SOPs, process documentation, and the knowledge base Use AI tools as part of your day-to-day — we actively encourage it and track the impact Qualifications Experience 2–4 years in Payroll, HR, or both Multi-country or multi-entity HR and payroll experience Employee lifecycle processes: onboarding, job changes, offboarding, time & attendance Exposure to statutory filings or government compliance in at least one jurisdiction Used to working with SLAs and case/query management Systems & tools Enterprise HRIS proficiency (Unit4, Workday, SAP, or similar) Comfortable in payroll platforms — understands input/output logic Comfortable with ticketing tools Proficient in Excel or quick learner Able to write clear SOPs and process documentation Actively uses AI tools in daily work Soft skills Knows when to solve and when to escalate  Stays steady under pressure  Resilient through change  Works independently once up to speed  Professional but warm  Communicates with clarity  Organised and self-directed  Genuinely excited about AI  Thinks beyond the task  Embraces change as the default  Languages English C1 or C2 — non-negotiable French — strong advantage, will be weighted in selection Any portfolio language is a nice-to-have (Spanish, Polish, German, etc) Additional Information Join Unit4, and not only will you be part of one of the most exciting journeys in the Cloud ERP software space, but you can also shape your career, your way.
