We are a small company with 7 US-based employees, located across multiple states, as well as offices in Israel and Germany. As we continue to grow, we want to ensure our HR practices, policies, and compliance requirements are fully aligned with both federal and multi-state regulations.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking an experienced HR consultant who can conduct a thorough audit of our current HR setup, draft or revise policies/documents following your recommendations, and who we can rely on for ongoing, as-needed hourly support to help us navigate HR and compliance issues as they arise.
Ideal Consultant Qualifications
Proven experience advising small businesses (ideally under 20 employees)
Strong knowledge of multi-state employment requirements and compliance
Familiarity with U.S. HR compliance, payroll tax registrations, and leave laws
Experience drafting or updating employee handbooks and policies
Ability to clearly communicate complex compliance issues in plain language
Responsive and available for ad hoc hourly consulting
Engagement Details
Initial scope: Project-based HR audit with written recommendations.
Ongoing: Hourly, as-needed consulting support.
