Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our team in a vacancy relief capacity. As a Machine Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production process, maintaining high-quality standards, and adhering to safety protocols. Key Responsibilities
As a Machine Operator, your key responsibilities will include:
- Setting up machinery for production and ensuring all necessary materials are available
- Operating and monitoring production equipment and replenishing materials as needed
- Visually inspecting production runs and documenting results
- Determining and reporting malfunctions to the appropriate parties
- Maintaining clean and safe work areas at all times
- Adhering to all company policies and procedures
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
- 1-3 years of general work experience required
- 1+ years of prior warehouse or production experience preferred
- Previous experience within a high-speed industrial environment and/or knowledge of industrial technology a plus
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, reach above head height, squat, kneel, bend, and reach
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
