Overview:
• We are looking for a Senior Java Integration Developer with strong experience in the Utility, Energy, or Electric Power domain, specifically in Smart Metering (AMI) and enterprise system integrations.
• The role focuses on building and maintaining backend integration layers that connect legacy utility platforms with AMI systems.
• Candidates with hands-on experience in metering, SCADA, MDM, or other energy data systems will be prioritized.

Responsibilities"
• Develop AMI and utility integration solutions using Java, Spring, Kafka, SOAP, and XML.
• Build integration layers between legacy systems and smart metering/AMI platforms.
• Support enterprise interfaces across metering, billing, and operational systems.
• Troubleshoot and optimize message queues and energy data exchange processes.
• Work with business/technical teams to design workflows, mappings, and data flows.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and containerized/cloud deployments (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS).
• Maintain stable integration performance in utility-grade environments and support modernization initiatives.
Qualifications:
• 8–10+ years of Java-based integration development experience.
• Strong background in the Utility/Energy domain, specifically AMI or MDM integrations.
• Proficiency in Spring, SOAP, Kafka, Oracle WebLogic, XML/XSLT.
• Experience with Oracle or DB2 databases and JDBC integrations.
• Hands-on knowledge of AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Maven, Git.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployment models.
• Strong debugging, communication, and collaboration skills within utility IT environments.
