We're seeking experienced and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Remote Benefits Customer Service Representatives in Pittsburgh, PA. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in guiding members through benefits enrollment, assisting with updates to health and/or pension plans, and delivering exceptional service via phone, email, and webchat. Key Responsibilities
As a Remote Benefits Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Guiding members through benefits enrollment and assisting with updates to health and/or pension plans
- Delivering personalized support via phone, email, and webchat, prioritizing quality over speed
- Starting on a single client account and being cross-trained to support multiple clients over time
- Using empathy, professionalism, and clear communication to handle a variety of member concerns, including those that may be sensitive or complex
- Interpreting plan documents and explaining them in simple, easy-to-understand language
- Handling confidential information responsibly in line with HIPAA and data privacy standards
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or GED
- Customer service or call center experience is a plus, but not required – we'll train the right person!
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- The ability to adapt your service approach to meet a variety of personalities and communication styles
- Basic computer proficiency and tech-savviness

Compensation and Perks
We offer a competitive hourly rate, with opportunities for pay increases based on performance and experience. Our pay rates are as follows:
- $16.50 - $17.25 an hour for non-bilingual candidates
- $18.00 an hour after 30 days for non-bilingual candidates
- $18.75 an hour after 30 days for bilingual candidates
