Responsibilities:
As a Commodity Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing strategic procurement plans to drive cost savings and improve supplier relationships
- Managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and operations to drive business results
- Analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities for cost savings, and implementing process improvements
- Developing and maintaining detailed project plans, requirements, and specifications to ensure successful project execution
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related field
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred candidates will have:
- Experience in the aviation industry or related field
- Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPM, CPSM)
- Strong knowledge of contract management, negotiation, and supplier relationship management
- Experience with procurement software and systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
