Job Description:

As a Staff Engineer, you will work closely with our suppliers to drive business growth, focusing on availability, stock turns, and forward positioning. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing procedures to enhance sales, turns, in-stock rates, and organizational balance
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Analysis, Category Management, and Pricing to understand sales and market trends
- Creating plans for renewal orders or sell-through activities that meet supplier objectives
- Communicating with suppliers to ensure complete and timely renewal orders and stock commitments
- Monitoring key performance indicators and driving corrective actions with suppliers and cross-functional partners
- Managing efficient inbound stock flows and health, including pricing, purchasing, and removing aged stock
- Supporting initiatives to drive improvements in our Inventory Planning systems, data, and processes
- Conducting root cause analysis and creating action plans to address stock-related issues
- Leading ad-hoc analysis (financial and operational) using standard scripts and reporting to inform provider actions and support decisions
- Regularly communicating performance trends and improvement opportunities to management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain/Operations, or a related discipline
- 2+ years of experience in operations, retail, engineering, consulting, strategy, or finance
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
- An entrepreneurial spirit and attitude; you should be adaptable and comfortable with change
- A team-first mentality with enthusiasm for cross-functional collaboration
