Job Summary
(Security Architect + Infrastructure Specialist + Deployment Lead)
The Lead Security Architect & Implementation Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and deploying enterprise-scale cybersecurity solutions that support FCPS security, performance, and compliance requirements. This role combines deep security architecture expertise with hands-on infrastructure and deployment leadership, ensuring SIEM, MDR, and SOAR platforms are resilient, scalable, and optimized for high-volume data ingestion. The position serves as a senior technical authority throughout solution design, rollout, and operational support.
Key Responsibilities
• Design end-to-end SIEM, MDR, and SOAR architecture aligned with FCPS technical and security requirements
• Define hardware, infrastructure, and cloud/on‑prem deployment models to support high-volume log ingestion (≥2TB/day)
• Lead and oversee implementation, configuration, and rollout of the complete security solution
• Ensure system performance, scalability, availability, and resilience across all components
• Integrate CrowdStrike EDR and other security tools into the SIEM/MDR/SOAR ecosystem
• Support FCPS during performance testing, security testing, and validation activities
• Act as escalation-level technical expert during MDR incidents and complex security events
• Collaborate with project management, compliance, and operations teams to ensure successful delivery
• Document architecture designs, configurations, and operational procedures
Minimum Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or security architecture
• Proven experience architecting and deploying enterprise SIEM, MDR, and SOAR solutions
• Demonstrated expertise with high-volume log ingest and processing systems (≥2TB/day)
• Experience integrating endpoint detection and response platforms, including CrowdStrike
• Strong understanding of security operations, threat detection, and incident response
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting K–12 or public-sector environments
• Hands-on experience with large-scale distributed systems and log analytics platforms
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, GIAC, CCSP, or vendor-specific SIEM certifications)
• Experience leading technical teams or serving as a technical deployment lead

Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
