About the position This is an applicant pool for Lecturer positions in Chemistry for the Academic Year 2026-2027. The positions are part-time, temporary, non-tenure, and contingent upon course offerings, sufficient student enrollment, position clearance, and availability of funding. Lecturers must be available to teach courses during the day, evening, weekend, and/or via distance learning, as needed. Duties include conducting lectures and/or laboratory courses in Introductory Chemistry, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or other courses as needed, and maintaining a minimum of one office hour per week for each course taught. Requirements • Master’s degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related field from an accredited college or university (degree must be fully completed at time of application) • Evidence of satisfactory teaching ability. Nice-to-haves • Demonstrated high-quality teaching in a multicultural setting. • College-level chemistry teaching experience beyond the teaching assistant level. • Demonstrated ability to teach lecture and laboratory courses in areas such as biochemistry, physical chemistry, inorganic chemistry, analytical chemistry, or environmental chemistry.
