Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with sawmills, wholesale distributors, and end-use customers across the lumber and timber markets.
- Source lumber products that meet client specifications for grade, species, volume, and delivery timelines.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, freight logistics, and terms to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, supply chain shifts, and regional timber dynamics to anticipate opportunities and guide sales strategy.
- Expand the company’s supplier and customer network through proactive outreach and relationship building.
- Provide accurate and timely reporting of sales activity, inventory needs, and market intelligence.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment, quality control, and problem resolution.

Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of lumber brokerage or related timber industry experience.
- Strong understanding of lumber grades, species, pricing structures, and market cycles.
- Proven track record in building and maintaining industry partnerships.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analysis skills.
- Ability to thrive in an independent, results-driven work environment.
- Working knowledge of logistics, transportation, and supply chain management in the lumber sector.
