What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide professional human resources consultation and support to various City departments
- Administer and oversee compliance processes for medical and disability leaves
- Facilitate interactive meetings to determine reasonable accommodations under the ADA
- Plan and conduct recruitment and outreach activities, including job advertising and interview coordination
- Assist with labor relations matters and participate in the collective bargaining process
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in public or business administration, finance, human resources, economics, or a closely related field
- Three (3) years of increasingly responsible professional experience in public administration, finance, housing, or human resources, or one (1) year at a level equivalent to Associate Management Analyst
- Valid California Class C Driver License with a satisfactory driving record
- Experience in public sector human resources is preferred
- Completion of an official City application is mandatory

- Experience in recruitment and selection, employee relations, benefits administration, and policy development within public sector HR
- Knowledge of California labor laws and regulations related to human resources
