The Role: Manager, Account Management - Roundel Essentials & Beauty
As Manager, Account Management, you will be the linchpin in developing and delivering multi-channel, integrated marketing strategies for Roundel's top clients in the Essentials & Beauty sectors. Your expertise in digital media planning, combined with your client-centric approach and strong communication skills, will be crucial in telling the story of Roundel's unique value proposition and driving business results. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to craft compelling media plans, present strategic recommendations, and stay ahead of industry trends to continuously elevate the level of service provided to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Leadership: Serve as the primary client contact for high-level annual planning and program-level strategies, delivering highly integrated and effective media plans that meet and exceed client expectations.
- Campaign Proposals: Own the development of client campaign proposals, including audience strategies, media mix allocations, and creative and media strategies rooted in insights and historical media performance.
- Internal Collaboration: Consult with internal partners to understand category trends and marketing needs, ensuring that media plans are aligned with client priorities and business objectives.
- Client Presentations: Present strategic recommendations to clients, using data to support your insights and guidance on specific media tactics that drive results.
- Industry Insights: Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in retail and digital advertising, identifying opportunities and tests to bring to clients to further enhance the service level and drive incremental business.
- Cross-Functional Partnerships: Work closely with various teams, including Reporting & Insights, Analytics, Sales, Trading & Ad Ops, and Channel Development, to deliver and execute effective media plans and campaigns.
About You: Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 3+ years of proven experience in digital media planning, marketing, or a related field, with a strong understanding of digital marketing and media landscapes.
- Hands-on experience with media planning systems and tools such as Operative One, DCM, DFP, or similar ad serving platforms.
- Outstanding attention to detail, organizational skills, and strong data and analytical capabilities, with the ability to multitask and drive results in a rapidly changing environment.
- Superior time management and multitasking skills to handle multiple concurrent projects and campaigns.
- The ability to articulate and defend creative and media direction to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Exceptional understanding of the full media planning process, from strategy and plan development to execution.
- A passion for uncovering new media opportunities to drive business growth and a demonstrated ability to build and maximize relationships with internal and external partners.
