Position Overview: North Carolina Remote Special Education Teacher (1099 Contractor)
As a Remote Special Education Teacher with VocoVision, you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering high-quality educational experiences for students with diverse needs. This is a fully remote position, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere in North Carolina while making a meaningful difference in the lives of your students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs): Create tailored educational plans that cater to the unique needs and goals of each student, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Deliver Virtual Instruction: Provide engaging, effective, and personalized virtual instruction that meets the diverse learning needs of your students, utilizing a range of digital tools and platforms.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with parents, educators, and support staff to foster a collaborative and supportive learning environment that extends beyond the virtual classroom.
- Assess Student Progress: Continuously assess student progress, using a variety of assessment tools and techniques to inform instruction and make data-driven decisions.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Keep detailed records of student performance, progress, and communication with stakeholders, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Essential Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina Special Education Teaching License: Hold a valid teaching license in special education issued by the state of North Carolina.
- Experience in Special Education: Have a proven track record of working with students with diverse special needs, and be familiar with IEP development and implementation.
- Excellent Communication and Organizational Skills: Demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
