Description:
• Build and lead a strong leadership pipeline across kitchen, prepping, plating, food safety and quality, and fulfillment functions.
• Coach and develop talent within the production and fulfillment organization.
• Manage daily operational logistics for the production center.
• Work with managers to execute final production scheduling.
• Ensure product quality and uphold department standards.
• Serve as the liaison between site operations, kitchen, R&D, and headquarters teams.
• Lead production-area continuous improvement initiatives.
• Set and maintain high execution standards to meet KPI and financial targets.
• Communicate company goals and priorities to the production center team through monthly meetings and ongoing updates.
• Drive improvements in safety, quality, cost, and delivery while fostering accountability and positive team culture.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of management experience leading an industrial kitchen or production operations center, preferably in food service or food production.
• Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
• Ability to think strategically and communicate effectively at the executive level.
• Familiarity with FSMA, HACCP, and SQF.
• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification preferred.
• Spanish proficiency preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate, develop, and manage 100+ employees per day.
• Deep knowledge of Lean and Agile production methods.
• Comprehensive background in prepping, cooking, plating, food safety and quality, and fulfillment.
• Willingness to work weekends and/or night shifts when needed.
• Demonstrated success delivering new product initiatives in both large-company and startup environments.
