Job Title: Payroll Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Payroll Specialist to efficiently manage the payroll for approximately 2,900 employees. This includes both contract and full-time employees, split bi-weekly, resulting in processing around 1,500 employees each week. You will utilize UKG Pro for payroll processing and ensure compliance with payroll taxes, tax laws, and regulations.
Responsibilities
Process payroll for approximately 2,900 employees on a bi-weekly schedule, managing both contract and full-time staff.
Utilize UKG Pro software for accurate and efficient payroll processing.
Ensure compliance with payroll taxes, including understanding of tax laws, regulations, and paid family leave.
Address and resolve employee inquiries related to payroll.
Leverage BI portals for payroll reporting and effectively use these reports.
Participate in ad-hoc tax projects as required.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 3-5 years of payroll processing experience.
Proficient in using UKG Pro for workforce management.
Strong understanding of payroll taxes and compliance requirements.
Work Environment
This position is within a completely virtual mental health startup, focusing on adolescents. The role allows for flexible, remote work in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bozeman, MT.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr.
