Program Manager, Application of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in RF Integrated Circuit Design
In this role you will serve as the Program Manager for a multidisciplinary team of AI, CAD and RF expert researchers and engineers to transform and accelerate the RF chip design process through the application of cutting-edge AI methodologies.
Every day you will collaborate with a diverse group of researchers to drive the adoption of AI-assisted design methodologies, significantly improving design productivity; create more optimal and possibly unique designs; and enable the work to be completed by less experienced designers.

The Program Manager, Applied Artificial Intelligence, RF Chip Design plays a pivotal role in leveraging AI algorithms and machine learning techniques to transform and accelerate the RF chip design process. By integrating advanced AI methodologies, this position seeks to significantly reduce development cycles, improve efficiency, and accelerate the delivery of advanced semiconductor solutions, ultimately strengthening the domestic semiconductor industry and ensuring technological superiority.
Responsibilities
• Develop and execute a comprehensive program plan to apply AI methodologies for accelerating and optimizing RF chip design processes, defining milestones, and allocating resources effectively
• Lead a cross-functional team of AI researchers, RF engineers, and semiconductor experts, fostering collaboration and driving the adoption of AI-assisted design methodologies
• Identify and mitigate potential risks, challenges, and roadblocks throughout the program lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and successful integration of AI techniques
• Establish and maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders, including senior leadership and research partners, to provide regular updates and ensure alignment with strategic objectives
• Collaborate with external research partners, facilitating knowledge sharing and driving the integration of AI-assisted design methodologies
• Contribute to the development of intellectual property (IP) and the dissemination of research findings through publications and presentations
• Manage program budgets, resources, and compliance with funding agency requirements
Required Skills and Experience
• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with a strong background in Artificial Intelligence / machine learning and knowledge of semiconductor design
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence with a proven track record in leading complex research and development programs focused on applying AI to accelerate design / innovation engineering processes
• Understanding of chip design principles, methodologies, and industry best practices
• Exceptional leadership and project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and present complex technical information clearly
• Proven track record of successful research publications and patent applications in relevant fields, particularly in the application of AI to semiconductor design
• Experience in managing research grants, budgets, and compliance with funding agency requirements
• Ability to travel as needed
