The Associate Recruiter will play an essential role in fueling clients' growth with extraordinary talent by developing staffing strategies and managing recruitment processes for hourly manufacturing and distribution positions.
Responsibilities
- Strategically partner with internal HR and hiring teams helping them to define, develop and implement centralized recruitment strategy that matches their business needs
- Successfully manages multiple job requisitions across a variety of roles
- Manages periods of high-volume recruitment
- Ensures process efficiency through technology and defined processes
- Administer and execute recruitment processes to hire for current openings and proactively develop a pipeline for future talent
- Responsible to create meaningful and mutually beneficial partnerships with external vendors
- Target passive and active candidates utilizing an array of tools and outlets including refined Boolean searches, resume mining databases, media leads, internet search, advanced search engines syntax, and social media
- Create innovative sourcing strategies to provide a qualified and diverse candidate pool for assigned requisitions through sourcing passive candidates, networking, complex internet searches, and employee referrals
- Prepare candidates for interviewing by providing detailed information on the company, department background, job descriptions, and expectations
- Review candidate resumes, credentials, and perform initial phone screens for appropriateness of skills, experience, and knowledge in relation to position requirements
- Develop solid relationships and partner with the hiring manager, business leaders, and HR
Skills
- Must have 3 plus years of Recruiting experience focused on high volume hourly positions
- A combination of education, training and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted
- Excellent sourcing skills with the ability to use numerous creative techniques and channels to identify quality candidates, including social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter)
- Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to consistently and positively contribute in a fast-paced, changing work environment as well as the ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks and manage work time efficiently
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in related field
