Boden Talent is partnering with a leading facilities management provider within the education sector to recruit a Director of Business Development. This role will be responsible for driving growth through strategic client engagement and long-term relationship development.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across the assigned territory
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
- Develop and grow strategic accounts, focusing on long-term partnership development, retention, and account expansion
- Create and execute business development strategies to achieve growth objectives
- Lead proposal development and RFP submissions
- Collaborate with operational teams to ensure a seamless client experience
- Attend industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for service growth
- Negotiate contracts and establish long-term client partnerships
Skills
- 3+ years of business development, account management, or client development experience
- Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Experience managing complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Experience within facilities management, outsourced services, or the education sector preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
