They are seeking a Business Development Manager to expand their network of employer key accounts across the United States, focusing on relationship-building and lead generation within the hospitality and tourism industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients using CRM software
- Generate and qualify leads through networking, cold calling, social media, and industry outreach
- Establish relationships with key decision-makers at new host employers and identify upsell opportunities
- Schedule and conduct meetings (including face-to-face) to assess client needs and present tailored solutions
- Organize and lead speaking engagements at local and national events
- Research industry trends and identify new opportunities to expand business
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive networking and partnership development
- Monitor market and industry trends to remain competitive
- Maintain a strong understanding of company services, market position, and competitors
- Negotiate and close business deals that drive sustained revenue, collaborating with sales, marketing, and leadership teams
- Secure J-1 training agreements with new host employers in full compliance with all visa regulations
Skills
- Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or in a comparable sales-focused role
- Demonstrated and consistent sales success
- Experience selling services rather than products
- Proven success with telephone and video-based sales
- Strong relationship-building and rapport development skills
- Excellent time management, planning, and organizational abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Hospitality or tourism industry experience
- 2+ years of proven sales experience in business development or a related field
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet goals
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in dynamic or high-pressure environments
- Ability to travel as needed
