They are seeking a California-barred litigation attorney with significant complex commercial litigation experience to work on an ongoing engagement basis.
Responsibilities
• Participate in sophisticated work with an Am Law team on a part-time basis
• Conducting and responding to discovery
• Legal research and writing
• Preparing legal pleadings, motions and statements
• Taking basic depositions
• Drafting responses and motions
• Researching legal issues and writing briefs
Skills
• 5+ years of complex commercial litigation experience, ability to work with little supervision
• Capable and confident with discovery activities, including taking basic depositions and drafting responses and motions, as well as researching legal issues and writing briefs
• Prior experience working at a full-service Am Law firm or a sophisticated litigation boutique
• Excellent academic credentials
• Licensed to practice law in California
• Outstanding references
