Lloyd & Whyte is a UK award-winning green and ethical Insurance Broker, and they are seeking a Commercial Account Handler to join their Totnes office. The role involves delivering commercial insurance sales income targets, providing expert advice, and conducting client review meetings to maximize business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Meet business targets by achieving new business, retention goals, service KPIs and maintaining required workflow standards
- Achieve agreed performance objectives by consistently meeting individual KPIs and contributing to team success
- Maintain strong technical expertise through continuous learning of products, market trends and underwriting guidelines to manage complex cases and referrals
- Deliver holistic insurance reviews by assessing client needs and recommending suitable related products for both new and existing customers
- Underwrite and manage claims effectively by adhering to underwriting authority levels, handling claims promptly and keeping clients fully informed through to settlement
Skills
- Proven experience with the Commercial Insurance Industry
- Confident and capable of building rapport over the telephone to provide an excellent client experience
- Creative and effective in helping to shape the team to focus on service, quality standards and efficiency
- Ability to work in a regulated, compliant and client focused environment
- Organised, resourceful, deadline driven and supportive of the wider team
- Chartered Insurance Institute Certificate in Insurance (hold/willing to work towards)
