Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. iConsultera is seeking a Compensation & Benefits Analyst responsible for analyzing, administering, and supporting the company’s total rewards programs. The role focuses on ensuring competitive compensation structures, accurate benefits administration, and providing a high-quality employee experience.
Responsibilities
• Conduct job evaluations, salary benchmarking, and market research to support compensation decisions.
• Maintain salary structures, pay grades, and compensation databases.
• Assist in annual compensation planning, merit increases, and incentive program administration.
• Ensure internal equity and compliance with FLSA and other wage regulations.
• Create compensation reports, dashboards, and models for leadership review.
• Support benefits enrollment, changes, and employee inquiries during open enrollment and life events.
• Coordinate with benefits providers, brokers, and third-party administrators.
• Ensure accurate benefits data in HRIS systems, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, and wellness programs.
• Assist with benefits audits, invoices, and monthly reconciliation.
• Maintain compensation and benefits data in HRIS and related systems.
• Generate monthly/quarterly HR analytics reports and cost summaries.
• Identify trends and present insights to HR leadership for decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws (FLSA, ACA, ERISA, HIPAA).
• Support internal and external audits related to compensation and benefits.
• Assist in updating benefits policies, compensation guidelines, and employee handbook sections.
• Provide employees with guidance on compensation, benefits, and HR policies.
• Create educational materials to support benefits understanding and utilization.
• Support onboarding and orientation for new hires regarding total rewards.
Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–5+ years of compensation, benefits, or HR analytics experience.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret compensation data.
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
• Experience with HRIS systems (Workday, ADP, UKG, BambooHR, etc.).
• Knowledge of compensation analysis tools and benchmarking surveys (Mercer, Radford, PayScale).
• Strong understanding of benefits plans, compliance regulations, and payroll coordination.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment
