About the Role: Remote Contact Center Chat Representative
As a Remote Contact Center Chat Representative at blithequark, you'll be the face of our organization, providing exceptional support to our members through various digital channels, including chat, messaging, email, and phone. You'll be a one-stop shop for resolving member inquiries, addressing concerns, and offering personalized solutions. Your excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and sales acumen will make you an invaluable asset to our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently and effectively respond to member inquiries, resolving issues and completing transactions through digital channels.
- Provide timely support to ensure online membership applications are completed and submitted.
- Discuss member needs on financial matters through multiple remote technology secured/unsecured access channels.
- Act as a subject matter expert for online products and services, including Online Banking, Bill Pay, Mobile Deposit, External Transfers, Online Account Opening, Mobile Banking, Chat, and Text Support.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of blithequark's products and services, staying up-to-date on the latest features and offerings.
- Cross-sell blithequark products and services, opening and closing deposit accounts as needed.
Essential Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of experience in a customer service position, preferably in a financial institution or related industry.
- Excellent oral, written, and telephone communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and member service skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Word, Excel, and PPT.
- Meets the requirements for blithequark's Telecommuting Program, including a dedicated workspace, secure and strong internet connection, and a distraction-free environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a sales environment, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Familiarity with financial products and services, particularly in a credit union or banking setting.
- Previous experience working in a remote or telecommuting environment.
