As a Credit Analyst, you will analyze financials, create loan approval packages, and monitor loan portfolio performance while embodying the bank's commitment to ethical banking.
Responsibilities
- Analyze personal and business financials for potential and existing loan customers
- Create comprehensive loan approval packages and identify any policy exceptions
- Present recommendations to senior management and credit committees
- Perform required monitoring of existing loan portfolio performance
- Assist in the due diligence process for audits and exams
- Maintain various loan related databases
- Utilize Power BI to create loan reports
- Embody a commitment to environmental, social, economic, and racial justice
- Apply curiosity and interest in our core values and pursue education related to sustainability practices
- Be willing to pursue and demonstrate an understanding of established Bank policies, procedures, and regulations
- Recognize the importance of protecting the organization and our customers
- Question suspicious activity and stay in close collaboration with our Compliance department to ensure proper investigation and processing of potentially fraudulent activity
- Stay informed on legal context and regulatory requirements and prioritize completing all web-based compliance and IT training
Skills
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Finance
- Prior banking experience
