As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Developing, communicating, and enforcing information security policies, standards, procedures, and best practices
- Participating in project management activities to support IT Security programs and initiatives
- Collaborating with internal and external auditors to assess compliance with policies, standards, procedures, and best practices
- Maintaining systemic, analytical Compliance programs and supporting annual regulatory compliance assessments
- Developing and delivering comprehensive information security training programs for crewmembers
- Serving as a messenger and advocate for Information Security to promote awareness and adherence to security protocols
- Gathering and reporting metrics to inform the state of information security at JetBlue Airways
- Performing other duties as assigned
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline with specialized leadership training, or a High School Diploma/GED with at least four years of relevant experience
- A security-related certification (e.g., CISSP, CISA)
- At least one year of Information Security Compliance experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of industry best practices for project management and regulatory/compliance requirements
- Experience with leading security standards, such as ISO 17799 and NIST SP 800:30
- Regular attendance and punctuality, with availability for occasional overnight travel (10%)
- Authorization to work in the US, with a strong fit for the JetBlue culture and values
Preferred qualifications include:
- Understanding of core security principles
- Four or more years of Information Security Compliance experience
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
