Dice is seeking an experienced Data Analytics Analyst with a strong healthcare background to develop, analyze, and deliver enterprise-wide reporting and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will transform complex healthcare data into meaningful business insights using SQL and Power BI.
Responsibilities
- Develop SQL queries to extract data from multiple healthcare applications and billing systems
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards for financial, executive, and operational reporting
- Analyze healthcare data to provide business insights and improve organizational efficiency
- Collaborate with business users, department managers, and IT teams to gather reporting requirements
- Create ad hoc reports related to billing, patient scheduling, radiologist productivity, and operational metrics
- Reengineer existing reports and improve reporting processes
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across reporting platforms
- Document reporting processes, workflows, and data definitions
- Present analytical findings to executives and business stakeholders
- Support ETL processes and data integration initiatives
Skills
- Healthcare or Clinical industry experience (Mandatory)
- 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Data Warehousing
- Strong SQL experience querying multiple databases and writing complex reports
- Advanced experience with Power BI dashboard development and data visualization
- Strong report writing and data aggregation experience
- Experience working with EMR/EHR, healthcare applications, or billing systems
- Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL, and data integration
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience presenting reports and analytics to business stakeholders and executives
- Experience with healthcare systems such as: Epic
- Cerner
- Meditech
- Athena
- AllScripts
- EClinicalWorks (eCW)
- Quest Diagnostics
- Intelerad
- Experience with PACS, Radiology Information Systems (RIS), Voice Recognition Systems
- Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare compliance
- Experience with outpatient imaging or hospital environments
