Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. WSI is currently recruiting an experienced professional to join their organization as a Federal Account Manager. The role involves developing and implementing sales strategies within the Federal Government Markets to increase sales and market share for client companies, while maintaining strong relationships with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the development, management and implementation of sales strategies within the Federal Government Markets on behalf of client companies represented by WSI
- Implement strategies to increase sales and market share for the client company(s) products represented by WSI
- Develop and maintain a mutually beneficial business relationship with respect to performance measures assigned by existing client companies
- Promote products to a wide range of specialty providers to increase sales and utilization
- Access and understand the complexities of the Federal Government markets including the VA/ DoD
- Work effectively within these systems as it relates to their specific policies and procedures
- Develop and maintain relationships ranging from target account administrators, pharmacy staff, P&T representatives, contracting officers and policy makers in addition to all appropriate medical staff
- Implement customized business plans for each target account specific to the client company and products serviced
- Build long-term relationships to understand customers’ needs and project a positive WSI image as the premier outsourcing partner dedicated to this market niche
Skills
- Minimum of a BA/BS
- At least 5 years of successful field sales, hospital sales, managed-care, marketing, or sales management experience
- Familiarity with working with Government Accounts
- A background in Oncology
- Ability to access and understand the complexities of the Federal Government markets including the VA/DoD
- Ability to work effectively within Federal Government systems as it relates to their specific policies and procedures
- Developing and maintaining relationships ranging from target account administrators, pharmacy staff, P&T representatives, contracting officers and policy makers in addition to all appropriate medical staff
- Ability to implement customized business plans for each target account specific to the client company and products serviced
- Building long-term relationships to understand customers' needs and projecting a positive WSI image as the premier outsourcing partner dedicated to this market niche

- Previous experience in Federal Government Healthcare Sales
