About the Role Our client, a well-established e-commerce business, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper to join their fully remote team. This position is essential for maintaining the financial health and operational efficiency of the company. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of bookkeeping, from accounts payable and receivable to payroll processing and financial statement preparation. Key Responsibilities Manage all day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries. Perform bank and credit card reconciliations regularly. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll for all employees. Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation. Assist with tax preparation and respond to inquiries from tax authorities. Implement and maintain effective internal controls over financial transactions. Communicate with clients and vendors regarding billing and payments. Support the finance team with ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed. Stay current with bookkeeping best practices and relevant software updates. Requirements Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 4 years of experience in full-charge bookkeeping or general accounting. Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, or similar platforms. Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices. Excellent data entry skills and high level of accuracy. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a remote setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with comfort in virtual collaboration tools. Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
