Litigation Associate (3-8 Years)

A California-based law firm is seeking a litigation associate with 3–8 years of experience to join its Trial & Litigation Practice Group. This role offers hands-on responsibility and the opportunity to work on complex litigation matters for public entity clients in a collaborative environment.
What You’ll Do:
• Represent public entity clients in complex litigation matters
• Develop litigation strategy and handle case management from inception through resolution
• Draft and argue motions; manage discovery and eDiscovery
• Litigate matters in California state and federal courts
• Present clear, persuasive constitutional and statutory arguments
What We’re Looking For:
• 3–8 years of litigation experience
• Required experience representing public entities (cities, counties, or special districts)
• Familiarity with government claims procedures and constitutional/statutory defenses
• Strong motion practice, discovery, and case development skills
Compensation & Benefits:
• Salary range: $160,000–$220,000 (CA-based, DOE)
