They are seeking a Marketing Analyst to join their Marketing Analytics team, responsible for driving analytics for Twilio's self-serve and PLG initiatives, translating business needs into actionable insights and technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead PLG Analytics: Own PLG analytics for Twilio's self-service business, including free-to-paid conversion, usage-based cohorting, signal-based audience development, and growth experimentation across the self-serve funnel. Build the bridge between Self Service and GTM motion to allow faster conversions
- Bridge the Technical Gap: Translate business needs into technical solutions using Python and SQL. Collaborate with Marketing Data Engineering to take tests from pilot to production. Ensure every technical pilot/ prod development has marketing impact and is measurable and scalable
- Build Strategic Partnerships: Build relationships with sales and marketing leaders to translate hypotheses into actionable experiments and identify high-leverage use cases
- Drive Iteration: Build tight feedback loops with sales teams to validate play effectiveness and evolve dashboards, cohort models, and experimentation frameworks
- Synthesize Data: Distill complex insights into clear, concise communication for both technical and non-technical stakeholders, focusing on 1-2 succinct takeaways for executives
- Develop Toolkits: Build and maintain analytical toolkits - scoring models, segmentation frameworks, dashboards - that help Sales and Marketing teams act on insights at scale
Skills
- Fluency in SQL and Python is essential
- Prior experience with product-led growth metrics (activation rates, free-to-paid conversion, usage-based expansion) or experience in a usage-based SaaS environment
- Ability to work with different Large Language Models (LLMs) to develop innovative business solutions
- Experience leveraging data to uncover insights and influence business strategy
- A passion for 'picking up the trash', identifying problems and fixing them proactively instead of waiting for instructions
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field, or equivalent practical experience
