Key Responsibilities
• Analyze Medicaid business reporting needs to determine effective solutions.
• Collaborate with programming staff to ensure successful integration of requirements into system design and testing.
• Serve as a liaison for software users, addressing inquiries and concerns.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of systems capabilities and Medicaid business operations.
• Complete Medicaid regulatory reporting as required.
• Utilize geo-access software to identify gaps in provider/member access.
• Conduct provider directory audits related to Medicaid services.
• Promote teamwork and collaboration within the department.
• Effectively resolve intricate Medicaid data challenges.
Required Skills
• Strong knowledge of systems capabilities and Medicaid business operations.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving, facilitation, and analytical abilities.
• Experience with Medicaid network regulatory reporting and familiarity with geo-access software is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the capability to manipulate large data sets.
• Ability to address complex Medicaid data issues and perform thorough provider directory audits.
Qualifications
• A Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) is required, along with a minimum of three years of relevant business analysis experience in Medicaid. A combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent background will also be considered.
