Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Touro College of Dental Medicine is seeking an Office Manager for the NYSCAS Sonography Program. The Office Manager will provide clerical and administrative support to the program's director and other officials while assisting students and coordinating with other administrative offices.
Responsibilities
- Answering phones to assist or direct callers accordingly
- Meet and greet visitors
- Scheduling meetings
- Assisting students
- Creating and updating documents
- Creating semester calendars
- Planning program events
- Periodic proctoring of exams
- Assisting with purchasing of Program equipment and supplies
- Liaising between the Program Director and the students
- Communicate effectively with students, faculty, staff, and clinical instructors
- Maintain student confidentiality at all times
- Assist with student admissions process (interview scheduling, liaising with the Admissions team to streamline application process, etc.)
- Liaising with other administrative offices, such as Financial Aid, Bursar, and Registrar
- Maintaining student files (registration, clinical documents, FERPA, etc.)
- Photocopying
- Other basic office work
- Other administrative tasks upon request
Skills
- Associate's degree required
- Minimum 2 years work experience in higher education administration
- Must be organized, have strong communication skills, take initiative, be self-motivated, and be able to function effectively in a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook
- Bachelor's degree preferred
