Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Dayforce is a global human capital management company headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, and Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Payroll Services Consultant will participate in the implementation lifecycle, gathering customer requirements, configuring the Dayforce solution, and providing support and guidance throughout the project.
Responsibilities
- Document and validate customer business requirements
- Configure the Dayforce application to meet documented customer requirements
- Conduct consulting sessions and document outcomes through meeting minutes
- Attend project meetings and provide status updates on activities and deliverables
- Provide customers with consulting services and general assistance within areas of expertise
- Develop SQL database scripts and XML transformers for integrations and interfaces
- Serve as a subject matter resource for specific functional areas for both internal and external stakeholders
- Work with customers to implement Dayforce Organizational Readiness best practices
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3–5 years of Payroll HCM consulting experience with an HCM software provider
- Expertise in complex integration solutions
- Strong technical documentation skills
- Experience creating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Parallel Test plans
- Experience in business process mapping and organizational readiness
- HCM lifecycle expertise, including operations, business practices, and technology enablement
- Superior customer support and relationship management skills
- Ability and willingness to travel to customer sites as needed (up to 25%)
- Master's degree or postgraduate coursework is an asset
- Prior consulting experience with both Payroll and HCM software
- Knowledge of prevailing wage and union concepts
- Expert knowledge of SQL scripting and XML transformers
- Prior consulting or functional experience with Dayforce HCM
