[Remote] Process Engineer I

The role involves monitoring and managing incident prevention responsibilities within the Inside Plant environment and performing various analyses and reporting related to customer specifications and project risks.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret comprehensive customer specifications, scope of work, and methods of procedure
• Assess how the customer's detailed engineering specifications align with the Co-Pilot program guidelines
• Perform daily Co-Pilot analysis for all new ISP projects nationwide
• Assign Co-Pilot turnbacks and identify the project's risk level rating according to the Co-Pilot program guidelines
• Competent using Microsoft BI tools for data analysis and identifying process improvements
• Reports the Co-Pilot program analysis bi-weekly with management to ensure organizational consistency
• Ability to offer direct and indirect technical support to field personnel and engineering teams
• Maintains a strong understanding of quality and process standards in the telecommunications industry
• Monitor current and emerging equipment types to identify risks relevant to incident prevention
• Carries out additional tasks as requested by the Manager

Skills

• Associate's Degree (A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of 7 years of field engineering and/or installation in related field
• Strong written and verbal skills with high attention to details
• MS Windows, Excel, Project, Visio, and operations of database programs
• Must be able to operate effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects
