They are seeking a Project Data Administrator who will ensure accurate project information is maintained in the accounting system and collaborate with various teams to assess projects and identify risks.
Responsibilities
- Initiate and maintain the setup of projects and amendments to existing projects in the accounting system based on the respective contracts
- Process all change orders and fee increases based on supporting documentation
- Assist in the administration of contracts and escalate any discrepancies noted between the contracts and the project set ups
- Prepare reports as needed, including summarizing task authorizations against Master Services Agreements or contracts
- Assist with other functions as deemed appropriate to the position
- Build strong relationships with our internal business partners including Project Managers (PM) and other project staff, as well as assist and collaborate with other Finance and Accounting team members
Skills
- 1 to 2 years of experience in an administrative or office management role
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in business administration (or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent organizational skills and the proven ability to multi-task
- General accounting experience with proven accuracy
- Exceptional attention to detail; highly organized and dependable, with strong ability to prioritize and follow-up
- Superior in Microsoft Office: Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and supervision
- Developed analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills
