Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Onward Search is partnering with a client to find a Project Manager to support a remote team. This role involves leading diverse initiatives and driving strategic execution in a flexible work environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee planning and implementation for medium-to-large cross-team projects, ensuring alignment with business goals
- Develop comprehensive project schedules, milestones, and success metrics to monitor progress effectively
- Coordinate activities across various departments, including Product, Engineering, UX, and Operations
- Facilitate communication among technical and business stakeholders to ensure clarity and collaboration
- Identify potential risks, dependencies, and obstacles, and develop strategies to mitigate them
Skills
- 3+ years' demonstrated expertise in project management principles such as scope, schedule, risk, and stakeholder communication
- Proven experience leading complex projects that involve multiple teams
- Capable of bringing clarity and structure to ambiguous situations
- Strong facilitation, relationship-building, and communication skills
- Knowledge of Agile, hybrid, or traditional delivery methods, with 3-7 years of relevant experience
- Ability to partner effectively with engineering teams and understand technical concepts. Software development experience is not required
- Familiarity with collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, or Smartsheet is a plus
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, CAPM, Scrum, or Agile are advantageous
