They are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer – Automation Testing to lead quality engineering activities across Agile teams, focusing on automation, end-to-end testing, and API validation for Telecom Digital Applications.
Responsibilities
- Lead Quality Engineering activities for assigned Digital Applications
- Plan and drive Sprint Testing, Automation Execution, and Release Sign-off
- Design, Develop, and Execute Manual and Automated Test Cases
- Develop Automation Frameworks using Selenium (Java), Playwright (TypeScript), Appium, and REST API Automation
- Perform Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, Integration Testing, End-to-End (E2E) Testing, and Mobile Testing
- Validate enterprise-wide system integrations, middleware services, and downstream data flows
- Execute API Testing and Integration Testing across enterprise applications
- Utilize AI-assisted Testing for Test Generation, Smart Test Selection, Failure Analysis, and Self-Healing Automation
- Execute testing on Cloud Platforms including LambdaTest, TestGrid, and Sauce Labs
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD Pipelines and maintain Quality Gates
- Create Test Plans, Test Scenarios, Test Cases, Test Data, and Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM)
- Prepare Test Estimates, Schedules, Test Logs, Test Reports, and Test Summary Reports
- Track Quality Metrics, Defect Trends, Risks, and Production Readiness
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement preventive actions
- Coordinate Test Environment and Test Data provisioning
- Review User Stories, Requirements, and identify testing gaps
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, stakeholder walkthroughs, demos, and governance meetings
- Collaborate with Development, Product, Business, and DevOps teams
- Ensure adherence to Quality Engineering standards, processes, and best practices
Skills
- 5+ Years of Software Testing and Quality Engineering Experience
- 4+ Years of Telecom Digital Domain Experience
- Strong understanding of Customer Journey, Authentication, Product Selection, Cart, Checkout, Payment, Order Management, Fulfillment, and Billing
- 4+ Years of Automation Testing using Selenium (Java) and/or Playwright (TypeScript)
- Strong experience with REST API Testing and Middleware Integration Testing
- 4+ Years of Mobile Automation using Appium
- Strong programming experience in Java, Python, C#, or TypeScript
- Strong SQL skills for Data Validation and Backend Testing
- Experience validating Orders, Transactions, User Sessions, and Enterprise Data
- Experience working with GitLab, CI/CD Pipelines, and Continuous Testing
- Experience using JIRA and qTest for Test Management
- Hands-on experience with LambdaTest, TestGrid, Sauce Labs, or similar Cloud Test Platforms
- Experience performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Defect Trend Analysis
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Excellent Analytical, Troubleshooting, Documentation, and Communication skills
- Experience leading Quality Engineering teams
- Exposure to AI-driven Quality Engineering and Intelligent Test Automation
- Experience implementing Continuous Testing within DevOps environments
- Knowledge of Test Automation Framework Design
- Experience working with Enterprise Middleware Applications
- Understanding of Authentication, Payment Validation, and Order Integrity Controls
- Experience with Tosca Automation
- Strong knowledge of Test Estimation, Risk Assessment, and Test Planning
- Experience preparing Project Metrics and Governance Reports
