Delane Consulting and Talent Management is seeking an experienced Clinical Recruiter to support a 6-month contract engagement for a healthcare insurance client. The role focuses on full-cycle recruiting for clinical positions while also providing support for corporate roles as needed.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for licensed clinical roles including RN Case Managers, Utilization Review Nurses, Medical Directors, Clinical Quality/Compliance staff, and other credentialed healthcare positions
- Understand and screen for clinical licensure requirements (RN, LPN, NP, etc.), state-specific credentialing, and compliance/regulatory qualifications relevant to a health plan environment
- Partner with clinical hiring managers to translate role requirements into effective sourcing strategies
- Source active and passive clinical candidates through niche job boards, nursing/clinical associations, LinkedIn, and referral networks
- Manage candidate pipelines with attention to licensure verification and credentialing timelines
- Support recruiting for corporate-level roles (Product Management, Finance, Project Management, Executive Admin, HR, Marketing, Operations) as requisition volume dictates
- Apply standard full-cycle recruiting practices (sourcing, screening, slating, interview coordination) to non-clinical corporate hires
- Manage a blended requisition load across clinical and corporate reqs (volume to be confirmed based on client need)
- Present qualified candidate slates to hiring managers with clear rationale
- Coordinate interview scheduling and drive the offer process
- Maintain accurate candidate data in the client's ATS
- Provide regular reporting on requisition status, pipeline health, and time-to-fill, split by clinical vs. corporate reqs
- Ensure a compliant, positive candidate experience appropriate to a regulated healthcare insurance environment
Skills
- 3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including demonstrated experience recruiting for clinical/licensed healthcare roles
- Working knowledge of clinical licensure and credentialing requirements (RN, NP, LPN, or similar) and comfort verifying these during screening
- Experience recruiting for corporate/HQ functions in addition to clinical roles (generalist versatility, not single-specialty)
- Strong sourcing skills, including niche clinical channels and Boolean search for corporate roles
- Experience working within an ATS (Workday, Greenhouse, iCIMS, or similar)
- Excellent stakeholder management skills across both clinical and business hiring managers
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced contract environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Prior in-house or agency recruiting experience specifically within a health plan/payer organization (not just provider-side or hospital systems)
- Familiarity with NCQA, URAC, or state DOH credentialing standards relevant to health plan clinical staffing
