Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Remote Legal Staff is a company focused on connecting talented legal professionals from around the world with U.S. law firms. The Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing and managing candidates, conducting interviews, and ensuring a high-quality recruitment process across various global markets.
Responsibilities
- Source and attract talent across Latin America, the Philippines, South Africa, and other global markets — proactively
- Build and manage employer brand touchpoints, recruitment campaigns, and candidate pipelines depending on your track
- Screen candidates for foundation, communication, judgment, and critical thinking — assessing mindset, urgency, and ownership, not just resume experience
- Conduct structured, competency-based interviews and assessments with documented evaluations
- Use AI tools and ATS platforms as a core part of your daily workflow — not occasionally, as a habit
- Maintain multiple open roles simultaneously without losing momentum or dropping standards
- Partner with Operations to ensure every hire aligns with long-term retention, not just placement speed
- Continuously improve your sourcing systems, screening frameworks, or profiling processes depending on your specialist track
- Protect client experience by never sending a weak candidate — quality is non-negotiable regardless of pipeline pressure
- Keep pipelines organised, updated, and moving at all times
Skills
- 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience — staffing or agency background preferred
- Demonstrated active sourcing experience: Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, passive candidate outreach — not just posting and waiting for applications
- Strong written and verbal English — your application itself is the first test of this
- Solid judgment and the ability to make fast, evidence-based candidate decisions
- Comfortable working across global talent pools — LATAM, Philippines, and South Africa experience is a strong plus
- Experience with ATS platforms, Google Workspace, and Slack — you are not learning these on the job
- Familiarity with AI tools in a recruiting context — sourcing, screening, or outreach automation
- Highly organised with strong follow-through — you close loops without being reminded
- Available to work US Pacific hours consistently
- Experience recruiting for legal roles is a strong plus, but not required
