Autosoft DMS is a Dealership Management System software company dedicated to enhancing the productivity and success of automotive retailers. They are seeking a high-energy Regional Sales Manager who will be responsible for prospecting and generating new business opportunities within their region, while also managing a robust pipeline and exceeding sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Exhibit a positive and winning attitude daily, both internally and externally
- Own the front end of the sales cycle, relentlessly prospecting and generating net-new business within your region
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities through cold calling, outbound outreach, networking, and referrals
- Strive to exceed all sales targets, elevating the overall team performance
- Demonstrate a commanding presence in person and over the phone, using proven sales methodologies to engage, influence, and close
- Develop a strong product knowledge as well as an understanding of customer needs
- Approach the role with a coachability mindset, applying feedback and sharpening your skills daily
- Manage and prioritize sales leads and develop new accounts through networking and referrals
- Uphold CRM discipline by logging all insights daily for future intelligence
- Perform any other duties needed to help drive our Vision, fulfill our Mission, and abide by our Values
Skills
- 3 to 5 years of progressive sales experience with a focus on pipeline generation and new business prospecting over the phone
- A highly motivated mentality with a proven ability to create opportunities where none existed
- Demonstrated success in cold calling, lead generation, and new account acquisition
- Strong discipline and self-motivation to thrive in a competitive, high-performance work environment. Working with confidence, resilience, and persistence – outwork rejection
- Team player with ability to coordinate efforts and collaborate effectively
- Strong computer skills and technical knowledge
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proven track record of sales accomplishments
- Data analytics using a CRM
- Automotive vendor dealership experiences, selling to in-store decision makers
- Business-to-business sales experience with finance, insurance, or other technologies used in the automotive industry required
