Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Aalberts is a company focused on hydronic flow control, and they are seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Central US. The role involves increasing revenue within the territory through strategic sales planning, market analysis, and providing sales support to representatives and OEMs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve regional sales objectives and company goals
- Establish territories within the region and clear objectives for all partners
- Analyze sales performance for both representatives and OEM accounts to identify market trends and forecast future potential
- Gain a deep understanding of the market in each territory including competitive landscape, pricing, market approach, industry trends and major stake holders
- Identifies all new business prospects and assists Sales Representatives and OEMs in securing those opportunities
- Manage, train, and motivate a wide range of third party representatives to engage and deliver profitable growth with the products we offer
- Works with the Customer Service department to ensure quality customer service for all customers
- Ensure channel partners are set up for success through robust on-boarding and continued education and support
- Works with management team and Product Line Managers in evaluating new products and product enhancements
- Participate in educational opportunities, read professional publications, and take part in professional organizations
- Supports management team in reviewing and adjusting pricing strategies
- Assists in organizing and executing customer training, engineering, and contractor sales presentations
- Provides applications and sales support to reps, engineers, end users, and to internal Aalberts departments
- Supports Management Team in setting sales goals for Sales Representatives and OEM’s
- Assists team in creating content for newsletters, social media posts and webinars
- Will be required to enter or edit customer orders on occasion as business needs demand
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Engineering or equivalent industry experience
- 5+ years industry experience in field sales or similar position
- Solid understanding of hydronic heating and cooling systems, products, and applications
- Able to handle multiple tasks concurrently while maintaining flexibility
- Fluent in languages spoken within territories of responsibility
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Sales experience in the HVAC industry
- 7+ years industry experience in field sales or like position
- Prior Regional/and or Sales Management experience preferred
- Experience working with Engineers and/or Mechanical contractors
