Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Connexa Search Group is working with a growing, multi-entity organization to find a part-time, fully remote Senior Accountant. This role involves owning the accounting for a small business unit, ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting corporate accounting functions.
Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day, full-cycle accounting including journal entries, accruals, and GL maintenance
- Run month-end and year-end close for the entity, delivering accurate and timely results
- Key month-end journal entries into the corporate system based on entity balances
- Prepare and review GL reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Review payroll-related transactions for accuracy and proper recording
- Support corporate accounting with reporting, analysis, and consolidation
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 5+ years of progressive, full-cycle accounting experience
- Debits, credits, and GL fundamentals should be second nature
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment and stay accessible Monday through Friday
- CPA is a plus
- Manufacturing background strongly preferred
- QuickBooks experience strongly preferred
- Microsoft Great Plains is a plus
