The Senior Project Manager serves as a strategic leader responsible for the successful delivery of eDiscovery services and project management solutions across a portfolio of client matters.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary strategic advisor to clients on eDiscovery workflows, technology, and best practices
- Lead complex engagements across multiple clients, ensuring defensible and efficient processes
- Provide consultative guidance on production planning, review workflows, analytics strategies
- Develop trusted relationships with legal teams, litigation support professionals, and internal stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to expand service offerings and support account growth and revenue generation
- Partner with internal leadership to ensure successful delivery of services across client portfolios
- Own the delivery of complex and high-visibility eDiscovery matters
- Ensure matters are executed on time, on budget, and in alignment with client objectives
- Anticipate risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies
- Design and oversee project plans, workflows, and resourcing strategies
- Maintain executive-level visibility into matter status, risks, and deliverables
- Lead, mentor, and support a pod of Project Managers and Associate Project Managers
- Provide guidance on project strategy, workflow execution, and client engagement
- Ensure consistency in project management standards and best practices across pod matters
- Train junior team members on Cimplifi technologies, workflows, and operational standards
- Support the Director, Client Delivery with escalations and strategic client initiatives
- Drive process improvement, collaboration, and operational innovation across the project management organization
- Consult with cross-functional teams to deliver customized solutions and scalable workflows
- Contribute to the evolution of best practices, technology adoption, and service delivery standards
- Ensure consistent application of standard operating procedures (SOPs) across all matters
- Ability to manage multiple high priority matters simultaneously
- Flexibility to work extended hours as required to meet client deadlines; workloads may average 50+ hours per week
- Occasional travel may be required
Skills
- 3 additional years of legal industry experience
- 5+ years of eDiscovery experience in a service provider, consulting, or law firm environment
- Extensive experience with Relativity or comparable eDiscovery platforms
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, high-value eDiscovery matters
- Strong client relationship management and communication skills
- Advanced understanding of eDiscovery analytics and review workflows
- Bachelor's degree required
- Juris Doctorate (JD) or LLM
- Experience advising AmLaw firms or enterprise legal departments
