Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Electria is a global renewable energy leader delivering integrated solar and battery storage solutions across the US. The Senior Project Manager will lead utility-scale Solar and Battery Energy Storage System projects from development through construction, overseeing contract management and project execution planning.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Owner’s Representative for EPC contract management on utility‑scale solar and BESS projects
- Support EPC contractor selection and contract negotiations
- Own project performance across cost, schedule, safety, and quality; develop and execute Project Execution Plans
- Review and manage EPC schedules, budgets, scopes, subcontractors, site logistics, and permitting compliance
- Oversee utility interconnection activities, testing, commissioning, and related documentation
- Lead construction risk management and capture lessons learned
- Manage relationships with landowners, authorities, customers, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders
- Coordinate with EPCs and vendors to ensure contractual compliance and milestone delivery
- Collaborate with internal engineering, procurement, legal, finance, and regulatory teams
- Conduct periodic site inspections to ensure quality and safety
Skills
- Experience building large-scale renewable projects
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or related field
- 3+ years managing utility‑scale solar projects
- Strong understanding of renewable energy construction methods and technical standards
- Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Excel, CPM scheduling, and tools such as MS Project or Primavera P6
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
- PMP certification
