The Solution Architect role on the OCTO Data team involves analyzing customer data environments and translating findings into actionable insights to enhance the Cyera platform's effectiveness and adaptability.
Responsibilities
- Analyze customer data environments using SQL to identify gaps, anomalies, and opportunities to improve platform accuracy and coverage
- Drive the feedback loop — translate field findings into actionable inputs for model tuning, product improvements, and R&D priorities
- Design and build internal tools and automation that scale the team’s ability to deliver value across customers
- Collaborate with field teams to ensure Cyera’s platform is tuned and configured for each customer’s specific data landscape
- Create and maintain documentation, runbooks, and best-practice frameworks
- Partner with R&D and Research to close the gap between out-of-the-box capabilities and customer reality
Skills
- 4+ years of hands-on experience working with large, complex datasets — including data analysis, manipulation, and deriving actionable conclusions
- B.A./B.S. in Economics, Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related analytical field — or equivalent practical experience
- Proven ability to diagnose and solve ambiguous, multi-layered technical problems
- Strong experience with structured and unstructured data—able to write and optimize queries, analyze datasets, and surface actionable insights, including strong proficiency in SQL
- Exceptional communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native data architectures
- Experience working in or with fast-paced startups or high-growth companies
- Familiarity with modern data architectures, cloud-native security tools, or data privacy frameworks
