They are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead the design and delivery of modern data platform solutions, collaborating with various teams to optimize and manage scalable data solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of modern data platform solutions using cloud technologies and data management best practices
- Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business teams to define data requirements and deliver scalable data solutions
- Work with Microsoft Fabric / Azure Fabric to build, manage, and optimize scalable data pipelines, workflows, and analytics solutions
- Design and optimize SQL queries, data models, database structures, and performance tuning strategies for analytics and reporting
- Utilize Kusto Query Language (KQL) to query, analyze, and manage large-scale datasets, logs, and telemetry data
- Build and maintain data ingestion pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and enterprise data integration workflows
- Drive data quality initiatives, data governance practices, metadata management, and platform performance optimization
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data pipeline failures, platform issues, and performance challenges
- Implement best practices for data security, access control, compliance, and data lifecycle management
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of data platform programs and initiatives
Skills
- 3+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Data Platform Engineering, Data Management, or related roles
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric / Azure Fabric or similar modern cloud data platforms
- Strong experience with SQL including: Data Analysis, Data Modeling, Query Optimization, Performance Tuning
- Experience with Kusto Query Language (KQL) and large-scale data analysis environments
- Experience designing and managing: Data Pipelines, ETL/ELT Processes, Data Integration Workflows
- Strong understanding of: Data Platforms, Data Warehousing, Data Management Practices, Data Governance, Data Quality Frameworks, Metadata Management
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience collaborating with engineering, analytics, product, and business stakeholders
- Experience with Azure Data Services, including: Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake
- Knowledge of modern data warehouse architectures and big data processing concepts
- Experience with Power BI or enterprise analytics platforms
- Understanding of cloud security, compliance, identity management, and access control practices
- Experience managing large-scale data transformation and platform modernization initiatives
