Job Description:
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the technical requirements of our remote transmissions, including painting and shading cameras, screening, investigating, and maintaining the technical aspects of our remote events
- Providing technical engineering expertise in the preparation, planning, and execution of a wide variety of events
- Adjusting video levels, black/white balance, and color balance between all cameras
- Troubleshooting any video issues, including camera, cabling, lens, and other technical concerns
- Managing and organizing remote compound video, fiber optic cable, and source lists
- Collaborating with Events and Production partners to develop workflows and ensure successful event execution
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of practical experience in distant production operations at the network level in a Video role
- Strong knowledge of live production equipment operations
- Ability to read and operate a waveform/vectorscope (graphics - SDI and IP, HD, UHD, and HDR)
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills using technical judgment and tools
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of broadcast equipment and remote production show needs
- Knowledge of fiber optic systems and cabling
