What You Will Do
Research accounts and prospects using a mix of AI-powered tools and traditional sources to understand their business context.
Engage prospects across email, LinkedIn, and phone with relevant, thoughtful outreach.
Hold meaningful conversations that uncover real problems, priorities, and timing.
Qualify interest and determine whether prospects are a strong fit for Joist AI.
Schedule meetings and provide clear, well-structured handoffs to Account Executives.
Maintain accurate activity, notes, and next steps in HubSpot.
Use feedback from conversations to improve messaging, targeting, and outreach approaches.
Continuously learn new tools and workflows to work more effectively and efficiently.
What We’re Looking For
1+ year of experience in B2B SaaS sales, sales development, or a comparable customer-facing role.
Strong conversational skills - you can listen, ask good questions, and communicate clearly.
Comfort using AI tools as part of your daily work (for research, writing, learning, problem-solving, and automation).
Ability to pick up new tools and processes quickly with minimal guidance.
Intellectual curiosity and the ability to understand new industries, technologies, and business problems.
Organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage follow-ups and priorities.
Resilient, consistent, and comfortable engaging new people.
Actively seeks and applies coaching, embraces constructive feedback, and consistently invests in improving their craft.
Nice to have (not required):
Experience in the AEC sector and/ or construction technology.
Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM tools.
Comfort working with AI-powered sales tools and an eagerness to adopt new signals and workflows developed in partnership with our GTM team
