About the Role
As a Sales Excellence Data Analytics Intern, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by transforming data into insights. You will work closely with our Sales teams and business leaders to determine key metrics, leverage data analytics tools, and maintain globally standardized datasets and dashboards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Sales business leaders to determine metrics that matter and leverage DOMO and Salesforce to drive consistent reporting
- Help Sales teams become full "consumers of data" rather than "creators of data"
- Maintain globally standardized datasets and dashboards
- Assist with ad-hoc requests from Sales teams, ranging from pointing teams to useful datasets to creating DOMO cards for specific views
- Analyze large data sets to identify trends and actionable insights
- Develop strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
What You'll Need
Essential Qualifications:
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Data Analytics, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or other analytical fields with a core focus on data work
- Experience working with large data sets to identify trends and actionable insights
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Apps (Word/Doc and Excel/Sheets are key tools)
- Self-starter, able to navigate in a fast-paced environment
- Highly motivated, detail-oriented, strong team contributor; able to work independently and cross-functionally
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, take on new responsibilities, and prioritize work in a dynamic, deadline-intensive environment
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- SQL experience
- Salesforce experience
- Comfort with using Business Intelligence and visualization tools such as DOMO, Tableau, and Power BI
